From a young age, I have always been passionate about exercise, fitness, and overall well-being. My journey into the world of fitness started early, driven by a fascination with how physical activity can transform the body and mind. This fascination grew into a deep-seated love for all things fitness-related, inspiring me to pursue a career where I could share this passion with others and help them achieve their health and fitness goals.

Throughout my life, I have been an avid participant in various sports and physical activities. Whether it was running, swimming, or lifting weights, I found immense joy and satisfaction in pushing my limits and striving for personal improvement. This personal journey of growth and self-discovery through fitness made me realize the profound impact that exercise can have on one’s life. It is not just about physical transformation but also about mental resilience, confidence, and overall happiness.

My enthusiasm for fitness naturally extended to a desire to help others experience these benefits. I enjoy meeting new people and hearing their unique stories and motivations for wanting to exercise. Every individual has a different reason for stepping into the gym, whether it’s to improve their health, gain confidence, or achieve a personal milestone. I find great fulfillment in understanding their “why” and guiding them on their fitness journey. This connection and the opportunity to positively impact someone’s life are what drive me every day.

To turn my passion into a profession, I decided to pursue formal education in personal training. I enrolled in PT Academy in Birmingham, where I had the privilege of being coached by Sam Deeley, an incredible mentor whose expertise and dedication further fuelled my enthusiasm for the field. Under his guidance, I gained not only the technical skills required to be an effective personal trainer but also a deeper understanding of the importance of empathy, motivation, and personalized coaching in helping clients achieve their goals.

In January 2024, I proudly qualified as a personal trainer, marking a significant milestone in my career. Eager to start making a difference, I founded RT Fitness in February 2024. From the moment I started, I knew I had found my true calling. Every day at RT Fitness is an opportunity to do what I love: helping people transform their lives through fitness. The saying, “when you love your job, you’ll never work a day in your life,” resonates deeply with me. This career allows me to blend my passion for fitness with my desire to make a positive impact on others.

As a personal trainer, my approach is holistic and client-centered. I believe that fitness is not a one-size-fits-all journey but a personalized path that should be tailored to each individual’s needs, goals, and preferences. I strive to create a supportive and motivating environment where my clients feel empowered to push their boundaries and achieve their best selves. Witnessing their progress, both physically and mentally, is incredibly rewarding and reaffirms my commitment to this profession.
